Nice light, same about the bulb!
I bought this for my elderly mother. Nice little light, perfect for the bedroom but.............. the recommended bulb in the info provided in the online description and Q&A's is G9 led halogen. On the box containing the light it says G9 led, no mention of halogen! So we got a G9 led suitable for dimming lights and guess what, the light works on the first 2 settings but flashes like mad on the 3rd so has to be switched off! We now can't return the bulb so what a waste. Argos, why does your information differ about the bulb, surely the info should be the same online and on the product box????? We have kept the light but will need a new bulb

Not Good Enough Argos
The lamp was OK but came without a bulb, and surprisingly, Argos did not sell it. Looking around for the bulbs seemed to indicate that they were sold in sixes, but I also noted that the tungsten version for the lamp was being withdrawn in favour of an LED type, which the lamp would not accept. The lamp was returned to the store and a different one bought.

Stylish little lamp
The lamp is attractive and the dimmer feature is very useful. I would have liked a bulb to have been included in the package as I had to wait a couple of days to get some. Very good value for money t it takes only a small space on bedside table.

This is perfect and u touch the sensor in the metal base for how bright u want it . Really glad I got this . I didn’t read up on it properly and didn’t buy the right bulbs until after I had bought the bulbs . But bought the right bulbs and it looks so lovely at night . Defo great buy

Having checked I can see the glass is placed on the base with the screw cap over using the shade tool to help screw it into place then the bulb is fitted. Please see instruction below:

Black, and how I wish Id noticed that in the reviews. The black cable is UGLY, and spoils the whole look of what is a lovely lamp.
Yet I noted that it had to be a Halogen bulb to work as a dimmer, so had purchased the bulbs in my local hardware store before collecting the lamp.

Yes, the Argos Home Cuba Glass ; Chrome Touch Table Lamp is ideal, with three settings it has just the right amount of variation, the 2nd or 3rd settings are great for reading.

Yes we have them for bedside lamps and they are bright enough to read by. They are quite heavy which makes them nice and stable also have the 3 touch dimmer, we find it's the 2nd touch that is the brightest. Still really pleased with them
