Milts - I made the same mistake the double packs are 8ml each cartridge. Thus 16 ml for both.
How can the XL have a smaller capacity than your standard size of 16 ml in a mixed pack? Wouldnt this mean Canon is misleading customers into believing this is the better value? How many pages can it print in comparison to the standard 180 pages? Or, have I missed something?

Yes, I have a MG3650 and usually buy the XL cartridge as its more cost effective, though I would buy from someone like cartridge world if the cost and fuel or postage was less than buying from ARGOS, which for me is just along the road.
