The sofa has arrived and boy it's heavy. Suitable for purpose. I hope it doesn't become seated to quickly. Other than that colour good, comfortable and material cleanable.

Great Sofa!
Just got this sofa a couple of weeks ago to replace a 25 year old Natuzzi. Exactly the right size, very comfortable and great quality. Also a lovely smell of leather! Very pleased. I would say however this is more of a 3 seater than a 4. The seating area is exactly the same as the 3 seater it replaced.

great replacement for old sofas
Oour 25 year old sofas were unable to be reupholstered (no one it seems wants to deal with leather). We have spent the last 2 years looking for replacements that were affordable and made well in real leather (faux leather to be avoided). When we came across these online we were suspicious BUT yes they are real leather. Called aniline leather means they are dyed and treated to last. We purchased them in black and they look and feel fabulous. We bought the 4-seater, 2-seater and the footstool. The 4-seater is good for laying lengthwise (my 5'10" husband says so). They are stylish and very well made and easy to fit the feet which are stored in a zip-up bag on the underside. No moans and delivery took 3 weeks and was on time with very pleasant delivery people.

I bought the settee’s 2 weeks ago I am very happy with my purchase although the material does mark easily, if anyone has any suggestions on how to remove marks on this material please let me know

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: All the leather used is cow hide. The cow hide is thick so to use the entire hide the tannery splits the leather cross-sectionally into layers, resulting the “grain leather” which is the top part and the “split leather” is the bottom part.
Semi-aniline is a luxurious and soft top grain leather that combines the suppleness and classic feel of untreated hide while providing some stain protection through a light surface coating. Semi-aniline leather is a leather dyed in a dyebath to achieve an even colouration.
This careful process means that only a thin finishing layer is required, enabling the leather to retain its soft feel and natural characteristics.

It is recommended to plump fixed cushions the following way:
Pound down four to five times on the seat pads and back cushion. This helps reform the furniture interior’s form.
If they become misshapen during use, use your hands to return any errant fillings to the corners of your sofa.
To smooth out any creasing, run your hands from front to back of your furniture, applying a good amount of pressure.

Based on the measurements given this Salisbury Leather 4 Seater Sofa - Tan should fit ok. Our drivers have a lot of experience getting items through doors. They will assess the best way to deliver this for you, health and safety permitting and providing there is no possibility of damaging the property they should be able to get this to the room of your choice. If the worst does happen that it will not go through then the drivers will bring this back and you will have a full refund.

The Habitat Salisbury Leather 4 Seater Sofa does come without the feet attached, so will make the sofa smaller. This should fit through a 30" doorway. If there are any sharp turns before or after the doorway, this may affect if the sofa will go through.
