Mario Kart 8 Deluxe delivers an outstanding kart racing experience on Nintendo Switch with 48 tracks and 36 characters. Play docked, in tabletop mode with friends, or handheld on the go. Four multiplayer modes let everyone join. 4 players split-screen on one console, up to 8 consoles via Local Wireless, or 12 consoles linked by LAN in TV mode. Online multiplayer supports up to 12 racers worldwide, and two local players can team up online from the same Switch.
This isn't standard racing. You'll power through courses on land, underwater, in the skies, and upside-down on walls and ceilings. All 16 DLC tracks from the Wii U version are included, featuring courses inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, and Excitebike. The character roster has expanded with Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl from Splatoon, plus King Boo, Dry Bones, and Bowser Jr. Rated 3 so the whole family can enjoy the mayhem, it's a brilliant pick-up-and-play experience whether you're a Mario Kart veteran or racing for the first time.
