IRON PURCHASE
I bought this iron about 2 weeks ago mainly because it ewas on offer. I must say that it has proved to be an excellent decision to purchase. It heats up very quickly and produces very good results. The only sligtly annoying thing is that like all irons has the tendency too drip occasionally. It does however produce plenty of steam and leaves shirts in particular looking very goos and smart.

A decent iron!
I bought this iron to replace my old one that finally broke. I'm happy with it. It irons well and glides over clothes with ease. The only downside is that it's is quite heavy. But other than that I'm pleased with it!

Nowhere has 310V as their mains supply voltage.
This iron is sold for UK use and so can be assumed to be designed for operation on UK mains voltage, which is 230 volts.
The mains voltage in India is exactly the same as the UK.

No this does not have this feature. The main way to stop clothes from going shiny is to use a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to diffuse heat and prevent direct pressure on the fibres. Other techniques include ironing on the wrong side of the garment, using the correct temperature setting, and using steam to soften fibres before ironing.

“ For steam ironing, the temperature control needs to be set to the steam symbol or higher, and on the dial of the Diamond Elite Iron that means the max 3 dotted setting. Ergo, no the steam will not function on a lower heat setting. ”
