About this product
This YardMaster 8 x 6ft metal shed is perfect for general storage in your garden or back yard. The tall end gables mean there's excellent standing room inside (192cm max internal height) as well as extra storage space. 2 sliding doors give you easy access to your contents, wide enough when both open (102cm) to take a bike or lawnmower. Slots along the eaves ensure your shed is always well ventilated. In classic cottage green with a subtle eggshell finish, this shed blends perfectly into any garden setting and will look great for years to come.
Metal sheds don't come with a floor. They should be built directly onto a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac, then anchored to it using the anchor fixings provided. This base is the floor of your shed. The anchor points are pre-drilled for your ease. Using these is an integral part of the shed's stability. This base is not supplied. An anchor kit is included.
Do not place directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc. As natural movement will affect the stability, reduce lifespan and cause the doors to warp. 2 people are required for assembly and we strongly recommend you use thick gloves when assembling the panels.
Once built, this YardMaster shed requires zero maintenance or further treatments. Its hot dipped galvanised steel construction makes it durable and weather resistant. This means you'll never have to paint it or worry about rot or rust. It comes with a 15-year UK manufacturer's anti-rust guarantee.

Looks great… absolutely terrible to put together
Took about total of 12 hours to build, spread over three days. Doors are still don’t close properly. I would never buy this again

Shed
Took some time to build as I did most of it myself, but got help when I needed it. It takes quite a bit of time to find all the correct items required in the box and every single screw needs a washer. The shed was assembled in a tight corner of the garden, so it was impossible to put it all together where it was going to live. It had to be constantly pulled out to be able to get to the screws around the back and side. I phoned the company at one point as the dimensions shown in the instructions were different to what I had. They were very helpful. There was mainly a problem fitting the roof, as 85% of the screw holes didn’t line up, so plenty of new holes had to be drilled. It was a big relief once it was finished and it looks quite posh. I recommend it, but unless you are a bit handy in fixing and adjusting things it could be a bit of nightmare. It’s never ending screwing in screws, so be warned.

Does the job
Good for bikes and garden items. Blends in with greenery. Easy to dent so could be stronger but otherwise fine.

Not the easiest to assemble
The instructions for assembly could be a lot clearer. Made a couple of mistakes that resulted in unscrewing sections. This added to the time taken to put it together. The pieces were numbered so that helped, but don't think you can do this in a few hours. I don't like the sliding doors, as they feel flimsy and are only held on by a couple of screws hinges would have been a better choice. Once it's up I like the colour and general design but floor space is smaller than the 8x6, I think this includes the overhang on the roof. Overall it's OK for the price I just hope it lasts.

Quality shed at a great price.
Clear and precise assembly instructions make for an easy build. It's definitely a two person job.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
