Nice and small!
This, to borrow from another product, does exactly what it says on the tin. It is a little pressure washer and washes stuff very well. I brought this one because it is smal and I live on a boat so do not have much space.

After unboxing this purchase, it was clearly obvious it was not the same as previous models made in years gone by. The hose felt very light, cheap and also so very short! TRhere is nowhere to attach and store the lance, unless you spend a lot more and buy a different model. The only good thing (and the reason I purchased this Karcher) was for the 5 year warranty.

Yes, this is unable to pump its own water from a source, so needs the pressure initially to then increase the pressure for use.

How to Use Detergent with the K2 Classic:
Connect the Detergent Suction Hose: Ensure the suction hose is properly connected to the detergent inlet on your K2 Classic.
Place the Hose in Detergent: Insert the free end of the suction hose into your detergent container.
Select the Appropriate Spray Setting: Use a spray lance with pressure regulation and turn it to the "Mix" setting.
Operate the Pressure Washer: When you activate the pressure washer, it will draw the detergent through the suction hose and mix it with the water stream.

I was wondering the same as I dont have an outside tap - but the spec reads it flows 360ltrs per hour which would be about 6 litres per minute. So, a bucket or watering can of 6 litres would empty in 1 minute - not practical. Also, I would expect the mains water pressure in an outside tap is a factor in the machines operation. For small jobs, not pavements etc, have you considered the rechargable version?

The K2 Classic does not have a suction tube in the machine, the FJ 6 Foam nozzle will need to be purchased and attached to the trigger gun.

Hello Helen. For the Karcher K 2 Classic Pressure Washer is directly linked to the tap via the hose. There is no compartment for adding anything else to be used at the same time. I hope this helps.
