About this product
The Gtech AirRam 2 is a cordless upright designed for pet owners and anyone tired of cables. Its patented AirLOC Technology picks up large debris forward and locks on the backstroke to remove embedded dirt and pet hair. The powered brush bar drives bristles into carpets to shift stubborn mess. Weighing 3.2kg, it's light to move around. You get up to 40 minutes on a 4-hour charge, and the removable 22V lithium-ion battery lets you charge it anywhere. The low-profile handle reaches under furniture, and the upper handle folds down for compact storage.
The 0.8l dustbin empties with a quick slide of the ejector arm, no mess or dust clouds, and the filter is washable so you're not buying replacements. It runs at around 75 decibels, which is quieter than most cordless uprights, and there's a low battery indicator so you're not caught out mid-clean. Works across carpets, deep pile, wool, hard floors, laminate and upholstery. The motorised floorhead handles everything from ground-in dirt to pet hair, and it glides easily from room to room without the faff of cables getting tangled or limiting your reach.

Excellent product - great performance
This AirRAM 2 replaces our old Gtech vaccum cleaner which is over twelve years old, still working well and given to a family member. This new model has improved suction and a much better waste disposal system. One minor detail, I wish there was a brush height adjustment to make it a bit easier to use on our deep pile carpets - not everyone has solid flooring!

My new best friend!
I inherited my last Gtech which was originally bought in 2014. It was in perfect working order, had been well respected and looked after and easily took the place of my 'wired' Samsung which has now been consigned to car cleaning. I admit to having reservations about my new tool but have been thrilled with its performance and ease of use. It became my pride and joy - housework has never been so easy. I'm 82 years of age and not keen on new fangled things but the Gtech Air Ram won me over. I only replaced it due to it now requiring a new battery which is no longer available.

Surprisingly light and easy
I bought this as my Dyson kept getting clogged, and it was heavy and difficult to empty. I have a wool carpet and a Labrador puppy, so l had to give up with the Dyson. I thought l would give the Gtec l try, so far l am impressed, the suction is good and because the weight is at floor level it is easier for me to manage. At only 4’10” tall and aged 68 l am getting on well with it
