Brilliant but a bit small
Pleased with item, although I find the print on the scales a bit too small to read.

Inexpensive mechanical scales does the job well.
Back to basics. After trying several digital scales, which eventually stop working after batteries replaced, I am using a mechanical scales again. It does the job and is inexpensive.

Worth the money.
This is a very basic item as reflected by the low price. If you need scales for constant use by several people you are better off buying a more expensive item.
RobertB, 65 or over, Ipswich
Comes up half a stone heavier than true weight.
These scales were over half a stone out so we had to take them straight back. You get what you pay for and these were cheap. Do not purchase.

functional
Scales are excellent! Service seemed lacking, no one at the Argos counter! no one at Sainsburys seemwd interested at all. once a shop in its own right, now just a call button and wait! .The.overal product works well, a basic measuring scale with metric and stone measments!

Hi Owan,
By marking every 7 lbs gives a half-stone reference on the Home Essentials Compact Mechanical Bathroom Scales - White: which can be helpful for users tracking weight changes in smaller increments, the dial provides a mid-point between each stone (14 lbs), making it easier to estimate weights that fall between full stones.

Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Compact Mechanical Bathroom Scales - White:
"Yes that’s correct, as a mechanical scale variance is not as accurate as a digital. So a 1kg variance is standard." This does mean that you could use these scales and appear to be 49kg or 51kg.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.

Hi Kayley,
For accurate reading bathroom scales should always been placed on a flat level surface like a hard floor.
Thanks for using Q&A,

Hello Layla,
After checking with our supplier they have advised: This bathroom scale is intended for body weighing. Therefore, weighing 1 or 2 Kg will not lead to best accuracy. For this use, we do suggest the use of a kitchen scale.
The lowest weight compatible with accuracy will be 10Kg.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for using Q&A.
your answer is yes,,,,,,,,,,and it will weigh whatever the next lowest weight figure is to the right of 0,in Ibs/stones/kilos
from what i can see the lowest is 1Ib,,,
I can see on the scale written max=21st/136kg, graduation: 1kg/2lb.
