Nice garden umbrella but I wouldn’t say it’s water repellent!!! The material is a very open weave. Water floods through like a waterfall…. For next summer I am planning to wax it. Otherwise it’s lovely as a sun shade at a reasonable price.

Parasol very light weight and not really very sturdy compared to the one it was replacing. Cover not very substantial sun shines through the thin fabric. Not sure it will last very long. At £60 I was expecting much better quality. I would have taken it back but it would be a 100 mile round trip!

Since you mentioned your table has a hole in the middle, as long as the hole is at least 2.9 cm in diameter, the parasol should fit comfortable.

Having checked, it's not really suitable for beach use. The parasol needs some kind of stable support to remain upright, such as a weighted stand and/or a patio table (the sort with the hole in the middle for a parasol).
