This Extra Tall Pet Gate Extension Pack helps extend the Pet Safety Gate (6223032 - sold separately) to 96cm with 2 pressure-fit extensions that work with the existing setup. Designed for medium to large dogs, the pressure system combined with wall cups keeps the barrier secure without permanent fixtures. The 7cm extensions slot into place during self-assembly to widen doorways or openings.
The extensions match the 110cm gate height to maintain consistent coverage across wider areas. Wall cups must be screwed in position for stability, which prevents pushing or dislodging during use. The pressure-fit design works without drilling into door frames, so it suits rental properties. Extensions integrate with the double-locking system and step-over bar already in the main gate unit.

Expensive and no instructions.
I needed the extension for the gate, so I had no choice but to buy it. I think the extension was expensive for what it is. There also were no instructions in the box. It was fairly easy to work out, but instructions would have been nice.

We tried for 2 days to add to relevant gate and eventually gave up as instructions were useless. When I returned to Argos I double checked was correct extension and it was but there was no way we could put together.

This, in conjunction with the gate (Extra Tall Pressure Fit Pet Gate - Black) is very frustrating and bad engineering. There are 4 weak points when put together and these continue to 'drop' and makes the whole thing look poor. Not your best item Argos

Fit for purpose
Bought this approx 5 weeks ago. We use the gate to stop our Scottish Deerhound from going into the kitchen. Also bought the extension pack which fit nicely. It works really well. Good quality. Easy to install. Only downside. It’s expensive. But job done.

Excellent pet gate and nice looking
Excellent fate, has two widths you can add on, is wobbly until you fix on so better with two people to put up. Once up just tighten it to close the gap in the gate so the lock can latch on. Tall enough for my doberman x German Sheppard who can jump high

Purchased as wide staircase These spin as are not secured to the extension that attaches to wall instructions are brief and they appear to make the overall appearance and gaps wider at the end of gate. Currently in place and working for now

No. The Scandinavian Pet Extra Tall Gate is 105cm and the Extra Tall Pet Gate Extension Pack – Black is 110cm high so they will not be compatible.

If you use a pipe cutter you can cut the bars down in length to the size you need so you could make them fit, but this would obviously void any return of them

Sadly no. The height of the Cuggle Extra Tall Safety Gate is 91cms. This Extra Tall Pet Gate Extension Pack – Black is 110cms in height.
