Excellent Pressure Cooker
My previous Smart Plus pressure cooker lasted for 11 years and when the pressure housing snapped off I was happy to buy another Smart Plus pressure cooker. Couldn’t manage without it.

Does a good job for me
As a single person this 4 litre pressure cooker is more then enough for me (the guide line is 1 to 1.5 litre per person so family of 4 adults 4 to 6 litres) As a novice it's easy to use with built in fool proof safety features It's hard to get excited over a stove top pressure cooker but this one seems very good as a £60 budget opinion If you take the lid off it is also useful as a normal pan on your stove top So again very versatile

A light but sold pressure cooker
A light but solid pressure cooker, easy to use. We are very happy with the final product , as we have used it often since buying it.

Stew Maker.
I have now used my new cooker a couple of times to make some lovely Chicken Stew and Beef Stew. They both were lovely. It is so easy to use and clean. Delighted with it.

Useful size but feels a bit flimsy.
Doesn't feel as solid as our Tefal pressure cooker, it's hard to see the settings for the pressure setting and the manual is confusing but otherwise it does the job.

No transparency on grade of stainless steel
Not sure to ask this or not. But I’m a bit concerned about steel grade since my uncle died with cancer. I know stainless steel has nickel grade and I was expecting if this product can specify what type of steel is used in this product. It is about transparency so the customer know what they are using and feeding thier families everyday since many of us know that cookware can leech harmful chemicals into our food when cooking. There are some safer cookwares brands but after research I can say stainless steel is safe although most brands will be honest in transparency to state what grade of steel is used and with proof since you have not stated in your product description so I’m disappointed and pls if you can feedback thank you

Leaks very badly
45 years of using prestige pressure cookers .This is the worst model..I wanted replacement parts for my old cooker, which i couldnt find, so i decided to invest in a new one instead as finding spare parts would be easy..But this model its noisy, leaks, the pressure gadge is unstable, and no matter how low the heat is, the food burns and sticks to the pan..I would give it zero stars if that was possible.Do not buy.

Do not purchase
Please do not purchase from this company. The company requires you to provide all the details of the fault. Look at the list below. After all sorts they will then give you the return label that need printing. So to all those who do not have printer at home you can spend time driving around to find DPD pick up that print label for you. In my area there were none. So I had to buy the cartridge to print one label. See the list of requirements before they believe you - Hi Rajni. I'm sorry to hear of the issue with your Smartplus pressure cooker. Can you advise on the following please? • Can you provide a photo of the top and underside of the lid? • Does the red visual pressure indicator rise at all? • Is there any steam or water leaking? • Is the centre of the vent tube (with regulator lifted off) clear? • What hob are you cooking on? • When is the heat being reduced? • How frequently it is used? • What types of food have been cooked? • How full is the cooker? • How much liquid is being added? • Are all parts present and fitted correctly as per the diagram below? Once we have the answers to these questions, we should be able to assist you further. Thanks - Julie
