The cut-resistant metal core resists basic theft attempts, whilst the PVC sheath protects your paintwork from scratches.
It features a 12mm cable with rust-proof metal construction for durability in wet conditions. The 2m length reaches around most bike racks and street furniture, making it easier to find secure anchor points. The key mechanism operates smoothly and includes two keys so you can keep a spare at home or in another bag. The PVC outer layer cushions contact with your frame. My bike was stolen
I bought this a month ago and have been using it to lock my bike nightly. Yesterday I come to find my bike had been stolen. The key mechanism was taken clean off the cable, it didn't look like the thief had much trouble at all with it. I would totally avoid this and go for something better.

This product fulfils both considerations and hopefully brand is reliable. Cable thickness is substantial although weight is still light enough to carry. Would recommend.

Unfortunately not – there are many locks in the UK market that perform as a security device without a tested security rating. Some are tested by the company themselves – there are a certain number that have independent testing.
These tend to be supported by additional insurance which these products don’t have.

The cable diameter including heavy duty outer sheath is 11mm. The actual inner braided steel cable running through the centre is 3.75mm.
