Looks easy but brush still is the best
Bought this as i thought i could paint the fence in my house easily. Read the instructions and weather was good after 1 or 2 months decided to use it. got the help of my son to fill the container, not that easy. He did use it 2 to 3 hours and some corners had to use the brush. Took a long time to clean it. The next time we wanted to paint in a few days time; we just used the old brush. Less hassle, less paint loss and more direct to where we wanted to paint to

This Wagner fence paint sprayer certainly does what it says. I used Ronseal undiluted and different coloured panels to spray in dark grey. It took 4 coats but a lot quicker than by hand. This piece of kit has a powerful spray and is multi directional depending what you choose.Easy to top up. Easy to clean afterwards,rinse out with water and wipe down. Photo of before & after 4 coats.

Wagner Fence & Decking Electric Paint Sprayer
You're best to use qarm, soapy water for water-based materials; mineral spirits for oil-based materials, along with a soft bristle brush and a rag. Always flush with clean water after the mineral spirits. Always check the back of the paint container for appropriate cleaning solution.
Do not spray or clean with liquids having a flash point of less than 100ºF (38ºC). Flash point is the temperature at which a fluid can produce enough vapor to ignite.

The supplier has advised the following for the Wagner Fence & Decking Electric Paint Sprayer:
“ Unfortunately the Fence & Decking Sprayer is only designed to handle the very thin products such as fence treatments & stains etc
On that basis we would not recommend the product for the purpose mentioned - the customer would need to look at one of our more professional units in the range such as the FC3500 XVLP. ”

This sprayer can be used with both water- and solvent-based paints and will evenly spray thicker liquids as well as thinner ones. Whereas some sprayers are limited to certain products, this model can be used with any standard stains, oils, varnishes or paints.
The product is used to apply "solvent or water based wood preservatives, fence paint and wood treatment" and the product you choose to use should reflect the instructions provided by the manufacturer.

The sprayer can be used with solvent or water based wood preservatives, fence paint and wood treatment. It will be dependent on the fencing and gaps if there would be overspray. It is possible to adjust the spray setting, for vertical, horizontal and corner surfaces. You can also adjust the volume.

The Wagner Fence & Decking Electric Paint Sprayer, according to a review, Cuprinol Ducksback performed better after being slightly watered down when used with a powerful Wagner sprayer.
This suggests that diluting the paint may improve its performance when sprayed with the Wagner Fence & Decking Sprayer.

The spray width is about 10-12 inches, but it does have a dot spray setting which will spray a single dot spray as well which is a small circular spray.
