Great size.
I like the size of this ironing board but it sounds as though underneath it is not quite level and you can actually feel it sink in when you press on it and it makes a noise I can not describe but it does not bother me and the wheels don't work on carpet but the board itself is not heavy (so it can not be made of the sturdy stuff my old board was made of which lasted me forty years) but overall keeping it because it is well cushioned and does make ironing seem somewhat quicker and I like the design and colour.

Quality Item?
First used 13th March. Ironed 2 pillow slips and was ironing handkerchief when the board collapsed to the floor. What could have been a nasty accident was narrowly avoided as I was holding the iron when it happened. The metal bar that holds the board up had sheared right off! Attempting to contact Argos has not been possible as my email address is "invalid" on their website. I'm still attempting to have it collected and replaced.

Addis Ironing Board
We have replaced our previous Addis ironing board with the same model. It is big, so useful for bedding etc. The last one finally had to go when the top of the leg corroded and snapped, but we had owned it for several years and it has been used many many times. I haven't come across a better model in this price range.

I bought this a few weeks ago and at first I was really pleased with it - since then I’ve been struggling with back pain - the board has only three height settings and the lowest one is still too high. I could easily iron sitting down with my old board but that is impossible with one 😥
