The speakers inside the EarPods have been engineered to maximise sound output and minimise sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio. The EarPods with Lightning Connector also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.

Better than unbranded makes
I bought these a week ago to replace existing pair that had stopped working. Previously when that happened I tried a non-branded pair, but they didn’t work well. So this time I paid for the branded version. Glad I did. Am able to keep listening and they do what I need them to do. They fit well and designed for comfort.

Not as comfortable as I’d hoped
The price is good and they seem fairly robust in terms of being taken in and out of a bag but I could not get these to feel very comfortable in my ears. It’s disappointing because I expected a good fit from Apple. My husband has had a pair for years and thinks they’re fine. Some silicon fittings would perhaps be more comfortable.

They sound good and are comfortable. The controls are good for volume and to be able to turn off the sound quickly when needed. I wear them every day and they last for about 4 months.
