I bought this grill as a last minute when my electric grill packed up and I had to host a bbq. It is a good size for catering for 20 people. The only down side is the warming rack which wouldn't stay up and therefore could not be utilised. I saw a review about this prior to buying but thought the person probably could not assemble the product properly.

It does state in the manual to make it easier to clean your Charcoal BBQ after use, line the fire bowl with aluminium cooking foil, shiney side up. Remember to leave ventilation holes clear by piercing the foil where necessary.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Drum Charcoal BBQ With Cover & Utensils: As with all charcoal BBQ’s – arrange charcoal on one side of the grill and add wood chips on the hot coals to produce smoke. Control the vents for airflow and maintain a temperature between 225°F and 250°F.
