Very good value BBQ
For such an inexpensive BBQ, I was most impressed. It was simple to assemble and it's well thought out. It has worked well in use. The inclusion of a cover and tools is a nice touch for the price. The only fly in the ointment is the fitment of the wheels via split pins, which are awkward to fit and slightly wobbly when fitted, but they do work.

Just what we wanted
The build was very straight forward , apart from the food racks that sit on the top being damaged (hasn't effected the use ) we love it !!! Always prefer a coal BBQ perfect size for a family top shelf is great to keep food warm . This is just what we wanted , great value for money comes with tools and protective cover .

The rivet nut for the top cover was missing
While assembling, I have noticed that, one of the permanently fixed rivet nut for holding the top cover‘s shoulder bolt was missing. It looks like, ithe product was a return item because three items were not in the plastic cover. I have managed to fix that issue with a standard M6 nut, for that I have to do some modification to accomodate that nut. Argos must ensure a good quality check.

Good sized barrel BBQ worth every penny
Purchased the item last week, easy to assemble and really good value for the price , complete with tools and cover and easily moved & cleaned , also the adjustable height of the charcoal tray was very helpful to control the temperature of cooking

Great bbq
Came with a slightly bent grill, didn't affect the product and was given a partial-refund to keep it. Highly recommend. Slightly low if you're taller and plan to be at it for hours, but we lifted onto bricks and was perfect.

Lovely BBQ
Excellent probably the best BBQ we've ever bought, was pretty easy to put together, the only downside was that what the coals sit on doesn't come apart for cleaning but other than that brilliant

It does state in the manual to make it easier to clean your Charcoal BBQ after use, line the fire bowl with aluminium cooking foil, shiney side up. Remember to leave ventilation holes clear by piercing the foil where necessary.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Drum Charcoal BBQ With Cover & Utensils: As with all charcoal BBQ’s – arrange charcoal on one side of the grill and add wood chips on the hot coals to produce smoke. Control the vents for airflow and maintain a temperature between 225°F and 250°F.
