Comfortable
Bought this as replacement mattress. My daughter who, stays on occasions, found it very comfortable and supportive.

Not worth the hype
Delivery takes ages and I don’t think they’re amazing I’ve been waking up with a bad back since purchasing

Should have bought one years ago
Such a huge upgrade over our old mattress, which was only about 6 years old. I know Emma do higher spec mattresses than this, but the base spec is amazing. Very fast delivery too.

Emma Original Lite mattress
I am pleased with this mattress for sleep quality but my only fault is that there is no support at the edge when getting in and out of bed. The first morning getting up I nearly slide unto the floor.

So Comfortable
The mattress is so comfortable and my sleep has definitely improved. My only comment is it slides and has to be put back into place after a few days.

Emma mattress
Terribly uncomfortable very poor quality, was very disappointed so had to return.

Not for me
I didn’t get on with it at all and ended up with a really painful back. I ordered the standard style and it seemed like it was missing all the memory foam and comfort layers I thought were just standard, realised after it was too late and had recycled my old one. My old mattress was a similar price to the standard Emma but had so much depth and foam, you would need the deepest option to benefit from it being comfortable for a side sleeper. Maybe a back sleeper that likes it almost concrete under a thin pad would love this though.

Too firm unfortunately
Unfortunately, we had to return the mattress as it was way too firm and our bodies didn't adjust.

Dissapointed.
I really don’t love this mattress it's super uncomfortable. It didn't come with any info. The box was scruffy and I've had awful back ache since getting it. I regret buying it.

Hello There
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Emma Hybrid Original Mattress - Double.
Emma mattresses are designed with high-quality foam layers that offer both comfort and support. When you sit on the edge of the mattress, there will be some compression, which is normal for foam mattresses. However, Emma mattresses—especially models like the Emma Original or Emma Hybrid—include edge support features that help minimize excessive sinking.
So while the mattress does compress slightly at the sides when you sit, it does not lose its shape or depth permanently. It quickly returns to its original form once the pressure is removed.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Louise,
The supplier has advised the following for the Emma Hybrid Original Mattress - Double:
“ Yes, you can use an electric blanket on an Emma mattress, which is made of memory foam, but it’s important to do so with caution to avoid damaging the mattress or affecting its performance.
Here are some key guidelines to follow:
Do's
Use low heat settings – Excessive heat can soften the foam layers and reduce the mattress’s ability to contour and support your body properly
Lay the blanket flat – Ensure the blanket is evenly spread out to avoid uneven heat distribution.
Use a timer or auto shut-off feature – This prevents prolonged exposure to heat, which can degrade the foam over time.
Place a sheet between the blanket and mattress – This acts as a buffer and helps protect the mattress.
Consider a heated over-blanket – These go on top of you rather than directly on the mattress, minimizing heat exposure to the foam.
Don'ts
Don’t use high temperatures – This can cause sagging and reduce the mattress’s lifespan.
Don’t sleep directly on the electric blanket – It intensifies heat exposure to the mattress.
Don’t leave the blanket on all night – Always turn it off before sleeping or use a timer.
Don’t fold or bunch the blanket – This can cause uneven heating and pose a fire risk
By following these precautions, you can enjoy the warmth of an electric blanket without compromising the comfort or durability of your Emma mattress. ”
