Cheap you get what you pay for
Shed made of very flimsy wood , floor is no where near strong enough and made from very subtle standard construction

Do not buy
I purchased this shed and had great expectations it has definitely disappointed us and it’s truly not worth the money nothing fitted together probably the wood split the door does not fit and the windows are so rubbish it’s an eye sore I am so disappointed and angry that we have wasted a lot of money on a very poorly made shed I doubt it would last a couple of years

Okay features shed
I bought this item roughly about a month ago design and looks are good until you build it then you can see that some of the panels are bowed/wonky but as for size and looks I'm happy with it

Cheap Flimsy Not worth it
Despite the price seeming reasonable it’s awful. The wood is so thin, the floor is so thin it won’t handle any weight on it. The board came snapped. Despite emailing them 4/5 times there was no response. The screws were all chucked in one massive bag. The windows a gust of wind would take them out. It might as well be made out of cardboard and isn’t even worth half the price. Bad customer service. Port quality.

Not the best
Wanted a shed urgently and cheap, however there are better quality for the same price. The door hinges are external so no need to bother locking it as could just unscrew the hinges.

What disappointment
Order my shed in July was pose have it end August end up having it in October, the company when you speak to them just flog u off when the shed did come load rubbish so cheaply made very fragile wish I took the time to read reviews such dispointment and a waste of money

Terrible shed, awful cheap quality wood
This is the worst buy, I wish I had read the reviews on Mercia sheds before I purchased. The wood was bent, gaps in the slats that came already put together and parts where the nails had split the wood. The flooring is awful, cheap quality and as soon as even my children walk on it it’s cracking under our feet- and ours is on a concrete base so I wouldn’t like to see what it’s like on their recommended base. Then there are the knots in the wood. I completely appreciate that knots are unavoidable but the wood could have been chose more carefully. It’s like they have used the wood that no other company would touch. Most panels have large knots already fallen out or about to, there are gaps everywhere. Mercia customer services were terrible, told me it’s because firstly I hadn’t treat the shed properly (the problems were arising as the shed was being built so I wasn’t going to treat something that I wanted to return) next they told me it’s because I didn’t build the shed straight away. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we didn’t get the shed build straight away but if these issues appeared because the shed wasn’t built until 4 weeks after receiving it (it was stored appropriately) then it’s not saying much for it when it is built and weathered. They had an excuse, a blame and a comeback for everything, rather than just apologising for their terrible product, and refused to return the product so I am stuck with it and now need to spend money to try and improve the quality. It appears from research, that it isn’t just this style of shed but all sheds made by Mercia that have the same, poor quality issue and the minority that are satisfied’ or have stated ‘it does the job’ have had a lucky escape.

Hello Li,
The supplier has advised the following for the Mercia Overlap Reverse Apex Shed - 10 x 6ft:
This does not come packaged as such. The larger panels are lifted off the vehicle unpackaged so the limit to being able to fit them through would be only the size of each panel in relation to the size of the spaces in the property you’d need to get them through. (For example, part/panel 1 is 1180mm x 1799mm, the gable ends are 1707mm x 2187mm, eaves framing 1473mm x 28mm, ridge bar 1432mm x 70mm. Most other parts are shorter or smaller than those). The smaller fixings are packaged in a plastic bag.
Thank you for using Q&A.
It does have a floor supplied, but I would recommend throwing it out as soon you get it and replacing it with a strong ply floor. During assembly, which was chaotic as the instructions were wrong I put my foot through the floor twice, cutting up my ankle.
It means flags to put it on

“ This is 227kg. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
We were sent the wrong instructions for this shed Also the floor was a lot bigger than frame of shed so we had to modify to fit The window design material is a joke and had to make our own frame to fit Decided also to use harder perspex for windows instead of cheap thin plastic All in all would rate this shed 5 out of 10
Hi Mahmoud
Mercia Overlap Reverse Apex Shed - 10 x 6ft:
The shed does come flat packed and will be needed to be fitted together. This will include the side panels, roof, the supplied wood floor, door and supports. If in doubt, it is advised to use a qualified fitter to put the shed together.
Thank you for using Q&A.
The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
