The wide-wheel base adds stability as confidence builds, and the compact, lightweight build makes it easy to carry or store between rides. Bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter, instructions said check all items are there, the book showed approx 20 parts most items were put together, so unable to check, so went ahead and started assembly, must agree assembly was easy and straight forward
