Love it! It's Everything it claims to be and more!
This is a must buy if you spend any amount of time playing video games! I couldn't think of my spare time with this! I bought this a few weeks ago, I've had the same model when it first launched but work life got in the way so I sold the previous one I had bought. Upon repurchasing this Xbox it brought back the memories of the level of efficiency this is compared to the Xbox one. The last few weeks have been a blast since I treat myself to this for my 30th birthday; I'm playing warzone on every night, after work, with my friends. The results of my online gameplay from using this next gen console speak for themselves. My movement is more precise and I feel like me, the hardware, the software and the interface are as one entity, the overall compatibility is lethal. I can't believe I spent best part of the last few years without this in my life. It's the best thing since sliced bread. I mean I would, like many others, prefer to have the higher spec model, the series X, but the price difference is a big gap, especially for someone playing only in the evening, after work and family time. I believe this console does everything I need plus more (in terms of moments of complete joy and fulfilment which is due to the overall feel of the fast frame rate along side the quick resume capabilities that counteract the stress that comes with playing "sweaty" pro players on Warzone (it's the only game I play day-in day-out and have done since it launched in 2019, and will continue to.... until GTA 6 releases, then its all curtains and blinds closed with at least one week's holiday booked from work). The only specification I can fault (in my option) is that it isn't capable of allocating/selecting the "large" option on the additional high texture streaming tab within the Warzone graphics setting. I'm guessing it's due to this model being the budget version and only having the capabilities of producing images in 4k but only as upscaled, unlike the series X which is capable of producing native 4k. But in all fairness if you play online games competitively, you'd know that higher resolution decreases framerate causing the frames to jump, lag, and in some cases result in the pixels to orbit paired with non-syncopation with the games tick rate, leaving a less responsive feel to input VS output performance. In layman's terms, running a higher resolution, there's higher possibilities of mishaps occurring such as: dying, in-game, from easily avoidable scenarios such as hitting the floor after plummeting down from heights even though, undoubtedly, you pressed the button to open your parachute with precalculated timing. I noticed this when I briefly opted to use 1440p Xbox video setting running at 60fps. With that being said, I have witnessed the visuals of 4k to seem somewhat visually stunning to my eyesight at times of minimal in-game operator/character/texture movement but when the software produces busy/actively large and multiple amounts of textures, the hardware reduces the software capabilities and this affects gameplay more as the interface gathers more human/player input and produces visuals from digital code/data. I hope my synopsis is informative & easily digestible and could be of good use to future onlookers seeking to purchase a perfectly priced gaming console; this is everything it claims to be, and maybe some more once you have fun, I'm addition to feelings & emotions coming into play. š
