Better than expected!
I got this to "catch them all" in Pokémon home. Thought I would load up a overly childish Pokémon game play it and be done. But I had a great time, I didn't stay with it too long but it looks great, plays great and the story is very nostalgic.

Stands the test of time
My grandsons both asked for this for Christmas although these game can be quite dear both of the boys love playing this game I remember buying the same game years ago for my son so it's a game that is enjoyed by all ages.

Retelling of a (nearly) 30 year old classic
The is am interesting retelling of the Pokemon Red and Blue (and Green, in Japan) games from the 90s. It uses similarly inspired controls and game mechanics to the hit mobile game, Pokemon Go. The game appears to take place 2 years after the Red and Blue games as it mentions the main protagonist and rival of those games. The game appeals to a more younger audience, (its a pokemon game, they all do but this one especially) as there isn't much of a challenge when battling. This seems like a good place for kids to start learning pokemon as 1) It is the original 151 2) Easy battle mechanics and catching

I’ve recently been getting back into pokemon after a long while, so I bought a game that I missed out on.
