Relief!
I bought a new mattress which was very firm . I loved it - I was fed up with a mattress that sunk in the middle so I had to struggle to get out of it. The only problem was, my back didn't like it, and I got horrendous sciatica when I was in bed, causing me sleep problems. My therapist told me to get a 2" good quality mattress topper. I found Panda, and, crossing my fingers, ordered it. When it came, I put it on my bed. The first night, a positive improvement, the second, oh, blessed relief! Tip for bed makers: use one elasticated sheet on the mattress, and another on the topper. That way, you can turn the topper with ease when you change the sheet. Definitely a good purchase.

Great product & service but maybe not for leightweight sleepers?
The topper quality seems excellent, with useful straps and foam that doesn’t trap heat (much). I loved the “feel” of lying on it, there’s a lovely smoothness and softness to it. Unfortunately, for my body (160cm / 57kg) the topper didn’t work as intended. It’s too thick, ie too much height of a material that’s rather soft and unsupportive. My body didn’t sink in enough to still get support from the mattress. And didn’t get enough support from the topper itself… I experienced increasing joint pains, and trapped nerves from misalignment. So sadly returned it. Ordering, delivery, return request, pickup and refund all went smoothly.

Top of the line topper
I bought a new mattress, but with an electric blanket on it , under the sheet, I could feel the wires and it just lacked a depth of softness. I have been so delighted with The Panda 5cm memory foam topper. I nolonger feel the electric blanket, just a soft , comfortable, cosy sleep. I'm so glad my new mattress is now not a disappointment. Panda was worth every penny. If your mattress doesn't feel quite right a Panda topper could be the solution.

Our supplier has advised that the Panda Memory Foam Bamboo Mattress Topper - Single can be used with an electric blanket. The only thing to consider is that memory foam is a heat-reactive material, so the topper may feel slightly softer when used with an electric blanket than otherwise.
