Nice and thin, but not silent
It's soft and thin so isn't noticeable as such. But it isn't silent, you can hear the difference between it being on or off, it makes a crinkle sound, and find myself having to be mindful when moving in bed with baby in the room. Waterproof works well.

As other reviewers have said, this is a good thing. I have yet to prove its proof rating, so can comment only on the rustle factor. I wanted to avoid buying anything that made a noise, because bedding has not traditionally been known to need a decibel rating. This one is not completely silent, but the effect is of crisply laundered sheets (think slightly-too-loud sfx in a radio play), which is pleasantly deceptive. Paying more than one want to is inevitable, but in this case, so far, worth it.

Plastic base and very hot
Purchased this 2 years ago and just couldn't believe how awful this product was, there is a plastic lining underneath and I believe this is the main reason for overheating at night. I stopped using it and recently tried again, same problem. Wish I had never purchawe this and returned it instead. I wanted a 100% natural bamboo product.

It was a tight fit but it stay on. Not sure how waterproof it is yet. Didnt really keep me cool but didnt add to the warmth either. Little bit of noise when move.

It's highly recommended to ensure that the protector is not loose on the cotbed and to ensure its securely fitted.

The Panda Kids Bamboo Waterproof Mattress Protector - Cot Bed, would not be suitable for a single bed. The size is L140, W70cm the length of a single mattress is usually around 190cm.
