I only purchased this a month ago, and have only played 4 films, I can't find any problems with it! I was a little worried about the volume level after reading some reviews, but it's fine, not loud by any means but ample with headphones ,great picture and easy to use , I think I'd buy another Oakcastle If I needed another DVD player.

I wanted something that I could move around the house with me as I work, and this is perfect. It's the size of my tablet, so I'm used to watching films on something this size. It's got a long battery life, so mostly I'm moving it about unencumbered by wires. I was surprised by how quiet the DVD plays, but then realised that anything louder would be a distraction to a car driver. So if I want it louder I just play it through the small portable external speakers I already have. CDs play louder, which is great. I'm EXTREMELY pleased with it, and with the quality of construction and picture when playing. A good purchase

I love this dvd player!
I love this dvd player! It’s easy to use and a good screen size compared to some other ones. It also feels like really good quality. I haven’t tried it in a car or train but it works well at home so far. The only things I’d change are (1) I can’t seem to make the screen less bright without distorting the colours too much and (2) sometimes the screensaver doesn’t come on (but maybe I have to do something in the settings 🤔
