This candle holder is way better than it looked on the pictures. It is big! It is bold! It is just what i was looking for - a statement candle holder which looks elegant. The glass dome lift up and I have placed an LED candle into the centre, then replace the dome. Really pleased with this purchase.

Bought this hurricane lamp in the sale for £14.66 after fancying it a long time ago so was chuffed to get it at reduced price
Really good quialty and design - I have used it with a battery and remote church candle and it’s beautiful when lit - the hammered glass gives off a lovely pattern against the wall
Not used it with a real candle because I have it on a bookcase and a real candle could cause burning on the underneath of the shelf above but I love pressing the remote to switch the battery church candle on and watching it flickering giving off patterns from the hammered glass and it means no fiddling lifting the glass on and off
Highly recommend if you want something atmospheric to add interest to home decor and think a faux candle is probably easier to use with it

Dangerous and not fit for purpose, be very careful when using this product.
I put a single candle inside and the whole thing exploded causing damage to a table and new carpet!

Habitat Hammered Wooden Base Hurricane Candle Holder.
The glass unscrew's off the base for the candle to be put in.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Hammered Wooden Base Hurricane Candle Holder: ''Yes, this is not fixed and one can put the glass part off for candle placement.''
