Hisense AX5125H 5.1.2Ch Sound Bar with Rear Speakers & Sub

Great value

So the sound is great for the price, very bassy. The only issue I have found it getting atmos to work? I have connected by ARC, I have even plugged in amazon stick to the sound bar directly but when playing a film that states supports 7.1 atmos, I still only get 5.1 dolby surround plus? Also can not stop my sky controller changing the volume when I press any button on the controller. I believe this maybe an issue using Arc as my last LG soundbar did not have this issue when connected by optical?

Great sound, questionable performance.

I have bought new two of these Hisense AX5125H soundbars, one in December 2025 and another on February 2026. Initially I was impressed with the sound the first gave and decided to purchase a second for my living room TV. I was shortly after that I had an issue with the first soundbar subwoofer making random very loud brief noises. Then the second soundbars rear speakers would again randomly disconnect and the only thing that would make them operational was to remove the plugs from the wall socket for 30 seconds then plug them in again. The annoying thing is, when these work properly, they have the best surround sound I've ever heard and I've owned more expensive soundbars than these. One thing that was quite significant I also noticed is there was no height channels from Atmos soundtracks. I checked if I had connected them properly and everything was as it should be, but still nothing from the upward firing speakers that I could make out. I also was not that impressed with the fact I have invested a lot of money in buying other Hisense products, like washing machines, fridge freezers and tumble dryers because they offered 2 year warranties as standard, but not with soundbars. You only get one year on those which is disappointing. I think now though that it is hardly surprising given both soundbars have technical issues which still randomly persist. I have learned my lesson now, because the Hisense fridge freezers we have also under perform. The problem of reliability in some Hisense products, means these will probably be the last purchases I will make with the brand. Time to switch to another manufacturer I would say.

Extremely easy to setup, just plug in and everything talks to each other automatically. Put an action movie on and it's like you're at the cinema with great surround sound and vibration from the bass

Good system and Great value for money.

We bought this system a few months ago. It was easy to set up via my mobile phone. It works well, has good surround sound and is easy to operate from its remote control. It was great value for money!

Good Soundbar System

I'm enjoying the soundbar so far, however compatability issues with my LG TV are frustrating when it comes to controls. Small gripe though as the sound is very good for the price.
