Underwhelmed and disappointed
I’ve had this TV two weeks now and have to be honest, I am disappointed with it. I’ve gone from a 10 year old 47” LCD Samsung to the 55” OLED BRAVIA 8 expecting a big difference in picture and sound quality but it’s barely noticeable. Not to mention setting it up, took me a good 2 hours and navigating the menus is clumsy and long winded. The reason I went for this TV was its reviews it had but I’m beginning to think the majority of reviews are from Sony staff or people gifted the TV. If I could return it I would so just have to make the most of it now. I’m going to have to buy the theatre Bar 9 to enhance the audio aspect. And fyi, the TV doesn’t have Dolby Atmos built into the internal speakers like they make it sound it does. You have to add a theatre bar. My advice would be, look at plenty of tvs rather trusting what you read!!

Love my TV
I've had this TV for a few weeks now and I love it. The picture is brilliant and the sound quality amazing. I love all of the features and Google TV is really easy to use. My PS5 looks amazing on this TV and the picture quality is incredible. Well worth the money and highly recommended.

HDMI FIRMWARE ISSUE
Despite owning the TV for only one month, I regularly experience HDMI handshake issues with my PS5. Resolving the problem often requires a full factory reset, which feels excessive and frustrating for a high-end Sony TV.

Great TV ,Poor Sony Service
The TV only lasted a couple of months before it needed to have a new motherboard ,Picture quality is brilliant, but Sony’s service is poor ,we Purchased the 77 inch model but since repair the TV thinks it’s the 55 inch model ,I think Sony should have offered a replacement TV rather than a repair as we didn’t have a TV for all of Christmas ☹️

Great TV but no Satellite TV Guide
Overall the TV is great with good picture quality and features. My main complaint is that the TV Guide when using the Satellite receiver does not show any programme details -which is a real pain. This does seem to be a common Sony issue although my previous Sony Bravia TV did not have the same problem.

Amazing TV
I’m extremely impressed with my Sony BRAVIA 8 OLED 4K TV with the XR Processor. The picture quality is outstanding – deep blacks, vibrant colours, and superb contrast thanks to the OLED panel. Motion handling and upscaling are excellent, and HDR content looks genuinely cinematic. The smart TV system is fast and easy to use, and the sound quality is surprisingly good straight from the TV. Build quality feels premium and the design looks great in any room. Overall, a high-end TV that delivers fantastic performance and is well worth the investment. Highly recommended.
