Great outdoor light
We bought this light as our front outdoor light kept staying on as it was mains operated the sensor had gone so we needed a replacement,, we saw this in Argos and thought this is just what we want and a really good price not complicated to fit as a lot are. It is a nice bright light that comes and off and is powered by daylight

Seemed good but …….
Seemed ideal until instructions read. Advised to take light in inclement (not the exact word) weather. Defeats the purpose as an outdoor sensor light.

Its a bright light!
Bought this light 3 weeks ago and even though the weather has been dull and raining the light is very bright and suits our needs. We have it pointing down and its high up so the light comes on when we open the gate. No more watching where we need to go as the path is lit up nicely. Highly recommend

Easy to install.
This light is ideal to light up the area around our back door. The solar power keeps the battery charged and the light goes out 20 seconds after movement has stopped, thus saves power.

Hi
Black Plastic Solar Sensor LED Spot Light
A solar light does not require direct sunlight to charge, but direct sunlight provides the optimal and most efficient charging conditions. Solar lights can still charge in indirect or ambient light, such as on cloudy days or in shaded areas, but the charging process will be slower and less efficient, resulting in reduced performance at night.
Charging Requirements
For optimal performance, most solar lights require approximately 6 to 8 hours of direct, unobstructed sunlight daily to achieve a full charge. A full charge typically provides 8 to 12 hours of illumination at night.
In indirect sunlight or on cloudy days, the charging efficiency can drop significantly (by 50-80%), and the light may only run for a few hours, or be dimmer.
For the initial use or after an extended period of poor weather, it's recommended to charge the light in the "off" position for 1 to 5 days to ensure the battery is fully activated and reaches maximum capacity.

Hi Raz,
The White Plastic Solar Sensor LED Spot Light typically has a battery life of about 70 minutes on a full charge, it takes about 4-8 hours to fully charge under direct sunlight. This duration can vary depending on factors like the amount of sunlight the solar panel receives and the frequency of the light being activated by motion.
