About this product
The Argos Home Malibu Tallboy provides a neat way to sort and store clothes without taking up much floor space. Its tall, narrow design has five easy-glide drawers that slide smoothly. There's room for folded t-shirts, socks, pants, gloves, hats and accessories, each drawer helping keep things organised and easy to find. The black oak wood effect finish adds a smart look to bedrooms, while metal knobs provide a simple grip. The top surface doubles as a spot for a lamp, photo frame, or small decor. Made in the UK. Part of the Malibu collection.
The drawers run on metal runners for smooth, reliable movement through daily use. Metal handles give a secure grip when opening and closing. Its narrow footprint fits into tight bedroom corners or alongside beds where wider units won't. Wall-mounting brackets must be used for homes with children, as it's over 60cm tall. Self-assembly required, two people recommended. Manufacturer's one year guarantee included.

Poor quality. There are gaps between the drawers when assembled. Would not recommend. I bought a whole set - regret buying them. Drawers are not closing properly because the frame is cut wider then the width of the drawers.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: The main construction material is chipboard cover in a paper that have a protective lacquer surface. The chipboard, although does have formaldehyde in it, is made to the most recent industry standards, therefore the levels of formaldehyde are very low. The surface lacquer is non-toxic. We declare the materials used through our supply chain and they have to comply with the relevant European regulations.

Yes, you could fit your own handles on the Malibu 5 Drawer Tallboy - White as these are held on with a screw from the back that goes through a pre-drilled hole in the drawer front. (Of course, any features not original to the item and any damage resulting from the use of non-original parts would not be covered by the product's guarantee).
The drawer fronts are 34.3cm x 15.7cm, and the internal size of the drawers is approx 29cm x 33cm.
