Now having this TV for 2weeks I have found that I’m unable fully operate this, as there no instructions to follow, if my ee box is not connected so far I have been unable to add any of the normal channels,it’s only be luck that I found how to turn the tv on, but I’m not sure the correct way to turn it off whether by turning the mains off at the plug or by the switch I found in the front of the tv or by the remote, other adjustments I’m still yet to found or features,

Great Picture, but terrible 'flat' sound
Purchased 2 weeks ago and disappointed as the set did not meet my expectations having read numerous reviews. I have used Sony televisions and video systems for nearly 50 years and this is the first time I have been disappointed. This set replaced a KD-55XE9305 which was a great set, until the screen failed. Reviews said the sound was very good and I expected similar performance to my XE93, but not so. The sound is very flat and tweaking of the Equalizer settings do little to help. On a plus, the picture is fantastic and a big improvement on the old set. I would also add that the older XE93 had great cable management leaving nothing to be seen whereas thsi set has no such capability.

I have had a Sony 3D tv for 10 year with great picture quality sound in fact everything. I have just replaced it with this model and larger screen. I have to say the TV channel picture is worse the sound coming from the screen area is often difficult to head correctly. So as a new purchase I would consider it a downgrade. Channel U for example , when chosen state error message, pressed again comes on.

Disappointing
Hugely disappointed. Colours lack vibrancy, even on the “vibrant” setting on all apps running in the Android TV, best results are via Nvidia Shield HDMI4. Audio sync issues with a Bose soundbar via optical audio connection.

had this now for about 4 weeks. Brilliant picture, v, good sound .but I do have a sound bar, A bit disapointed that you cannot receive bbc text news on modern tely,s.Quite a few hoops to go through to set up,luckily I had my son to help me ( I am 84 and was born in the 15th century )

I tried to register my TV for 5years. But argos purchase not accepted.
This is the message I received from sony warranty department.
While validating your participation, we concluded that we cannot accept your claim because the reseller Argos where you bought the product is not a participating reseller in this promotion. To check which resellers are eligible or to get more details on this campaign.
