I got it this November and to be honest, it blender well but saw smoke coming out of the bottom (engine) at the first used so I got scared and returned it. We all know Safety comes first.

Easy smoothies
Not used the food processor yet but used the blender and made nice smoothies 1 one was perfect. 2 was ok but I needed to blend alittle more. Smoothies new to me so starters little errors. Cleaning is ok but use a long brush cleaner as to risky cleaning with scourer with the sharp blades in blender . When blender on is noisy but not used to sounds of them and doubt there is a blender that is silent. But only on 20-30 second each time until reached how you want the smoothie is ready.

I can advise that cake mixes usually require whisking, this food processor does not have a whisk attachment.
