About this product
The Overlap Dip Treated 8x6 Pent Garden Shed from Forest is ideal for general storage and ideal for positioning against a wall or fence. Two shatter-proof polycarbonate glazed windows allow in extra light and are secured with security screws. The door is given extra strength The overlap construction aids in rainwater run-off and the roof is finished with black felt. Made with timber from sustainable sources.
Rather than the more common OSB (oriented strand board), this garden shed features an strong, interlocking, solid tongue and groove flooring, allowing for the storage of heavier items. The roof of this pent shed is made from hardwearing 8mm solid sheet, finished with a green sand-felt cover for complete weatherproof protection.
An attractive garden shed, made with traditional straight cut overlap timber boards.
Pressure treated with a 25 year guarantee, the longest guarantee on the market.

Instructions are not that helpful as it’s for all the sheds! Couldn’t get to top part to sit correctly above door and windows to make the sides straight with level, door is not sitting closer enough to frame so working on solving that and We have not put the roof on yet but I’m hoping it goes well

I bought this thinking it was a ideal shed it was delivered without care plastic windows all damaged drop on floor then timber placed on top felt was ripped had to ring for replacement button that time noticed all feather edge boards splitting so rang company to collect which took another 7 days basically it is like a very cheap glorified fence panel type shed

Roof comes as 3 very cheap boards that you have to make a roof yourself and biuld the pent bit aswell then put the roof supports in no happy with it at all sent it back and brought a better one

Had this last month was flimsy wood very poorly made Not a solid shed at all A piece was broke on arrival they changed it for another broke piece The roof been on a week and it’s already bending in middle My husband is a builder and was available to build this correctly and even he struggled with the panels being out of size slightly I wouldn’t buy again

Poor quality
Brought this 8x6 pent shed for a neighbour who is 80 coming. Never seen such a bad and looks really cheap. Had a nightmare putting this together. Timber is that thin you can see through it. We had to buy new felt as the other that was sent was to thin not good at all not worth the money at all.

I bought the shed from Argos &I was right to do sow . It was delivered at 7 in the morning very helpful put it were I had to go. Shed is well made it was great to put up looks great i give it 10 out of 10 . We have painted in dark oak it is a great 👍 Thanks

The supplier has advised the following for the Forest 4Life Wooden Overlap Pent Garden Shed - 8 x 6ft:
"Please advise the customer our drivers are unable to go through the customers property but if there is side access they can take through into the garden."
They also give the sizes of some of the parts too. Only a few of the panels are especially large, these being the following:
2ft Plain Panel (590mm x 1831mm)
4ft Plain Panel (1180mm x 1831mm)
4ft Door Panel (1180mm x 1831mm)
4ft Infill Panel (1180mm x 134mm)
Apex Section (136mm x 1365mm)
Apex Section (136mm x 1365mm)
OSB Roof Sheet (2032mm x 828mm x 8mm)
Floor (1180mm x 1826mm)
Other parts are long, e.g. the Roof Beam at 1770mm, but being posts and poles, they aren’t wide so they’d be easier to get through a narrow space.

I can confirm that the product is supplied with a separate roll of felt which needs “tacking” to the roof boards once the shed is assembled and prior to barge boards being applied.

Thanks for your query about the Forest Wooden 8 x 6ft Overlap Pent Shed.
The side the door is on cannot be changed to the right hand side (as you face it). Though the long sides are both made of two sections, the parts are pre-made so as to fit together one way only.
The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
