About this product
The Overlap Dip Treated 8x6 Pent Garden Shed from Forest is ideal for general storage and ideal for positioning against a wall or fence. Two shatter-proof polycarbonate glazed windows allow in extra light and are secured with security screws. The door is given extra strength The overlap construction aids in rainwater run-off and the roof is finished with black felt. Made in the UK with FSC certified timber from sustainable sources.
Wooden sheds, like this one, come supplied with a floor but still need to be built on a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac. This base is not supplied. Do not place directly onto a base of grass, sand, earth etc. As natural movement will affect stability, reduce lifespan, cause the door(s) to warp and encourage rot.
The door features a strong Z frame to give it added strength and the hidden hinges provide extra security for the workshop. The door can also be secured with an additional padlock (not included) through the hasp and staple fastening.
The fixed windows are glazed with strong, shatter-proof polycarbonate that won't become brittle or yellow over time. They are secured with security screws that cannot be unscrewed once fixed, giving added security.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
