I ordered this bed because I had decorated my spare bedroom it was a great price and came quickly on delivery the men that brought it was very helpful and took it straight upstairs for me it was easy to put together and it looks great in my room I like that it's low to the floor so when my grandson stays he's can easily get in and out he's 2 years old IV got it under my window so am happy that the headboard is low it's one of the reasons I choose it I didn't want a headboard covering half my window I am really pleased with this bed I already had my mattress so didn't need to buy one overall I'd give this bed a 10/10 can't fault it

Great bed frame!
I’m really happy with this bed. It looks modern and stylish in the natural colour, and it feels sturdy and well-built. The ottoman storage is a huge bonus – it lifts easily and provides plenty of space to store bedding and other items, which helps keep the room clutter-free. Assembly took a little time but the instructions were clear. Overall, very practical and comfortable – highly recommend!

Nice quality but very short/low headboard
The bed is great quality and really happy with it, but the headboard is very low to the point its almost unusable for me.

Needed a bigger bed
The instructions for the flat pack were good. I put the Nut, Screws, Washers & bolts in and laid out the other parts in order. Took about an hour to put together. The trouble with these beds is skinning your shins on the corners in the middle of the night, even though they're upholstered. Same happened with our smaller Ottoman bed. We also bought a King size Emma mattress which seems to be slightly smaller than the frame?

I bought taller feet from an online auction site and they just screwed in so I think the screws are fairly standard sizes. Bear in mind that the base for the storage area is just a fabric sheet that lies on the floor so if you are using the storage and try to move the bed it will be dragging all your stuff along the floor. On carpet it would be very difficult to move.

The Home Heathdon Double End Lift Ottoman Bed - Natural uses an 8mm Bolt - Plastic Threaded Adjustable Foot Blk. (8x27x25mm) as the foot, these just screw into the base through a single hole. If you attach castors, this would be at your own volition and additional holes would need to be drilled. Please bear in mind that any change to the normal assembly instructions may invalidate the Warranty.
