Good But Not Great!
I have probably spent close to the price of this toaster on cheaper models in the past 3years as all of them either stopped working or only toasted one side of the bread as the heating element was faulty. So I decided to buy a more expensive Bosch Styline 2 SliceToaster. It's compact and easy to use and feels very sturdy and looks great with clean lines which I like a lot. It fits into my small limited space kitchen well. It also toasts very evenly and the browning control works very well which is what I was looking for in a more expensive toaster. The only concern that I have is that this toaster has a problem with (Warburtons) thick(heavy)crumpets and the pop up mechanism gets jammed and does not release the crumpets...this has happened a couple of times...I prefer to buy thinner crumpets anyway and this toaster does not have any problem with the thinner ones, bagels, or any type of bread that I have used so far. I did think of returning it within the first week due to the issue mentioned but as the toaster has handled every other items without issue I have decided to keep it. All in all I am happy with this purchase and it is most definitely a step up from the cheaper models I always bought in the past. I would recommend this toaster !

Not worth the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this toaster 6 wks ago thinking more expvis better. Mistake. stopped working. Lever action broken. Hv replaced it with the cheaper version. Am disappointed as Bosch always delivers on quality

Bosch quality built toaster.
Choice was a cheap Daewoo toaster for £25, a SMEG for £150 (has to be stainless steel and bright white I was told!) but found a brilliant compromise a Bosch with great lines and a matching kettle. £60 later I and the Mrs more importantly was chuffed!

Flimsy
Unfortunately I had to return this toaster after ordering to match my kettle . I had previously owned the white Skyline toaster which I was very happy with but this replacement was smaller, flimsy in comparison and on a low heat setting (2) burned the toast in one side and undercooked it on the other . The heating elements were displaced and uneven and sone became hot as expected and sone did not sufficiently heat . Disappointing especially after paying £90!
