Treatment using infrared lamp.
I bought this to replace an old “Philips” infra red lamp. All our family used this lamp as part of treatment of injuries programme! The lamp naturally enough had a lamp which gave up working and I bought this lamp as a replacement. It’s fantastic. I am thoroughly pleased with it. The five, ten, fifteen minute timer function is excellent, as is the “positional” function of the lamp, with good resounding “clicks”. There is nothing about this lamp I don’t like. It has a long lead as well. I seriously would recommend this lamp.

I'll be honest I was hesitant to buy, natural remedies and alike aren't my go to but i decided to give it a try. To my surprise it helped! Reduced the redness and itchiness of the skin. I did 15 minutes every night before bed and felt instant results. Do be warned the lamp gets pretty warm so it can be tricky to adjust the angle or move the lamp once it's been on for a minute or so. Happy with my purchase!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Beurer Infared Heat IL35 Therapy Lamp White: Our infrared lamps, such as the IL 35, are equipped with a special filter that allows visible light in the warm colors to pass through while blocking UV light.
The main wavelength of our lamps is 1100 nm or 1250 nm, while the UV spectrum lies between 100 nm and 380 nm - i.e. far to the left of the wavelength axis.
Please note that there is no 100% UV protection with the IL 35.

The dominant wavelength is 1100 .
This wavelength range is also the one that penetrates deepest into the skin.
The penetration depth of the radiation is limited and depends largely on the wavelength and the adsorption behavior of the skin.
The penetration depth in the IR-A region is optimal and becomes very low in the IR-B and IR-C areas.
To explain the wavelength spectrum:
Shortwave = IRA 800nm - 1400nm
Medium wave = IRB 1400nm - 3000nm
Long wave = IRC 3000nm - 10,000nm.''

No it doesnt cost a lot. Its 150w which over one hour would be about one seventh of a unit. You are saying one quarter of that duration.
Itll cost about 1p for 15 minutes.
