Poor alarm clock
This alarm clock did not keep the time or alarm and I returned it. I did not get another because the build quality is poor and it has no pillow clip to prevent it falling off the bed. Also, as a severely deaf person, I did not realise that I could claim VAT exemption.

Very disappointing
As a person who is deaf and wears digital hearing aids during the day I wanted an effective alarm I could rely on. Reading reviews this appeared to be just what I needed. Placed under the pillow it would produce sound and vibrations. It arrived in a somewhat battered box and I discovered the battery ‘door’ was broken . I secured it with sellotape. It worked but I found it disappointing. I had assumed the alarm would vibrate and ring until switched off. In my experience, over many years, this has been the norm. For various good reasons I decided that the hassle of returning it by post was too great. I ditched it. Some months later I came across the product again. I decided to try again. I ordered two, one to go under the pillow , one to stand on my bedside table. I overslept. On investigation I discovered that these too switch off after a relatively short session. So these too are of no use to me. I have decided to put them, as new, in my ‘charity bag’. Obviously people with perfect hearing may find the product meets their needs. My recommendation to the manufacturer is to rectify that which I consider a problem ie, so that it continues to sound and vibrate for a much longer continuous period.

Simple vibrating alarm clock.
So pleased with this small but effective vibrating alarm clock.Needed help setting it up as small buttons etc but husband set the alarm for me.As I am very deaf the alarm woke me up by vibrating under the pillow. Fully recommend this battery operated alarm.

Not what it said on the time
The sale and collection transaction was excellent. The product had been described well. But the operation of it rendered it useless. I wanted an under pillow alarm that would wake me without waking my partner. Hopeless. The vibration affected the whole bed and even came with a slight buzzing noise. One practice try was enough for me to put it back in the box and now I am trying to find a single friend who might want it. I do not recommend at all.

The vibration function is excellent, it can wake the deepest sleeper even when sleeping on the thickest pillow.

Nice idea but...
It didn't work. The alarm just stopped after 8 vibrations/ beeps. It was fiddly to set up too for old hands. Took it back and didnt try another one as it was tacky. Nice idea and would consider another one, better designed.

The supplier has advised the following for the Lifemax Under Pillow Vibration Alarm Clock:
One of the rubber buttons on the back of the item is time set.
Once this has been activated the up and down buttons on the front are used to set the clock.
This is all in the instruction supplied with the clock

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: The clock is placed under the pillow in a leather wallet type case and will then vibrate to wake the person using the clock up.

Hi there
If the vibration only mode is selected it will vibrate for 1 minute before stopping.
If the vibration and audible alarm is selected it will vibrate for 20 seconds and then beep for a further 40 seconds (1 minute in total)
This will not be a loud alarm as it is designed mainly to vibrate so as not to wake partners/night workers etc
You can select to have no audible sound at all

The back light will only come one when the snooze/light button on the top of the alarm is pressed. I hope this helps.
Yes! The long silver button on the top of the alarm is a snooze button. It will snooze the alarm for 8 minutes.
