About this product
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8122e is built for home professionals who need a capable colour inkjet that handles printing, scanning, copying and faxing without making you miss the office setup. Nice printer, poor software
The configuration software and website is really very slow with many bugs along the way. HP is know for poor software but honestly in 2026 ... shouldn't be that hard !

Okay
Okay, but not great. Expensive to maintain.

Unimpressed
Difficult to set up. I had to uninstall and re-install several times, lots of inconsistent error messages. The last straw was when the ink ran out after 2 days. So, I just sent it back and got a full refund. I then bought another HP printer which is much better

Slow machine
The product was meant to be a step up or an improvement from the hp 3630 but it is really slow, continuously dropping the network connection . Overall performance is not great will not recommend.

Tricky installation of cartridges
Very tricky issue with cartridges nevver experienced with any other HP printer. Will wait until original installation cartridges are showing empty before I try with replacement set sent.

Great Printer no issue
I bought this printer a month ago and I'm very happy with it so far. It works much better than my old printer! My only issue is that I haven't received my cashback yet, so I'm hoping that gets processed as soon as possible. Apart from that, everything has been great so far.
