Poor capacity
I recently bought this dishwasher and I’m really disappointed with the top cutlery tray. It sounds like a good idea, but in reality it just gets in the way. It takes up too much space, which messes up the middle rack. If I lower the middle basket, there’s not enough room for big plates below. If I raise it, tall glasses hit the cutlery tray and don’t fit properly. Overall, this design makes loading the dishwasher more difficult, not easier. I’d much prefer a standard cutlery basket instead.

Happy with purchase
I bought this a week ago and so far am happy with my purchase. The only annoying thing is that the screen to show how long is left is on the edge of the door so when it is closed you can't see it!

I bought this machine a few weeks ago and am very pleased with the sparkling contents that have been cleaned to perfection. Easy to operate . Very smart looking machine that fits into my new kitchen beautifully. A very good purchase.

Average performance
A very smart looking dishwasher, perfect size for a kitchen with limited space, however I'm a little surprised at the length of time some programmes take, even on ECO setting takes 235 min and this is the recommended setting. Used the washer a few times now and find the drying poor, perhaps I'm doing something wrong. Easy to operate overall it works but I wished I done my homework better.

Nice dishwasher style
Bought this as my previous dishwasher stopped working. Like the colour and design of the dishwasher. The cutlery section is on the top of the machine which gives more space for pans etc. the cutlery doesn’t always come clean first time the rest of the dishes are clean and dry

Happy with new dishwasher but....
I've had my new slimline dishwasher for about five weeks. It washes ok so I'm happy to have it. However there are a few points that I think needs improvement. I find that my varying size plates wobble about in the bottom tray quite a bit and I haven't found a better way to load them. If you have a mix of cups and mugs, cups will stand on the pull down rack on the top tray, but then you can't get mugs beneath them, only small cups again. I love the dedicated cutlery drawer because you don't need to use an annoying basket. My ancient old Candy dishwasher had a gleaming stainless steel interior and this one is some kind of a more dull metal. I'm sure it's not a real problem but it never looks as gleaming. Just one more thing, part of the led info display is along the inside top of the door, if you want to see what it says you need to bend down and squint through the gap! So I don't bother and just follow the other info given on the outside of the door! I hope it lasts as long as my OAP dishwasher, when I forget about my impressive old one I may grow to love this one too! It works.

Not well designed
The upper cutlery rack is a good idea, but has a big plastic lip coming down at the front, so the cups rack sits too close to it to be able to put many glasses and cups in the top. Really poor design.

A new slimline dishwasher
I've had this machine for a few weeks now and am slowly getting used to it. The instructions are generic and I am disappointed to discover that most programmes take a lot longer than my old machine. The cutlery drawer reduces space on the upper rack and the 2 tended to jam together so we have taken it out and use the cutlery basket from the old one. Somehow it doesn't seem to take as much as the old one. Having said that it works. well and does the job

Hisense HS523E15WUK Slimline Dishwasher - White 215/9038 The installer would not be able to drill holes in any cupboards for wires/pipes to go through. You would need to do this and also ensure that your pipework is long enough and the electrical wire is long enough to reach.
