Great Value Double Oven with Impressive Features!
I recently purchased the Beko BBDM243BOC Built-In Double Electric Oven, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations! Pros: ✅ Spacious Design: The two ovens provide plenty of cooking space, perfect for large meals or baking multiple dishes at once. ✅ Even Cooking: The fan ensures even heat distribution, which means no more hot or cold spots in my bakes! ✅ Sleek Black Finish: Looks stylish and modern in my kitchen, blending well with other appliances. ✅ Easy-to-Use Controls: Simple and intuitive touch controls make setting temperatures and timers hassle-free. ✅ Self-Cleaning Function: A fantastic addition that saves me time scrubbing after cooking. Cons: ❌ Preheat Time: Takes slightly longer to preheat compared to some high-end models. ❌ Control Panel Sensitivity: The touch controls can sometimes be a little too sensitive. Generally very good
There is very little wrong with this oven. It heats well and has plenty of functions (too many really). I like having a grill in each oven for occasional use but a pity that only one grill pan is supplied. It's also strange that the top oven has a traditional thermostat light to say when it's actively heating while the main oven has a little thermometer symbol in the centre display instead; this is confusing at first - why do they not both follow the same pattern? It would also be nice to be able to set a timed start, the manual says how to do this but you can't; apparently this "maty not be available on all models" even though the manual only applies to this one model so that's quite strange. The catalytic side panels, although great, are not really big enough, and the fully telescopic pull-out shelf, while also great, is fixed in only one of the five shelf positions which limits its usefulness. Despite this big list of minor issues it's still a great oven overall.
