About this product
A tall shelving unit designed to maximise storage without eating into your floorspace. The Karee gives you six tiers of practical shelving that keeps everything from books and box files to plants and displays within easy reach. It's made from solid pine with a natural unfinished surface, so you can use it straight away or personalise it with your choice of wood stain or paint. The narrow profile fits neatly against walls in living rooms, home offices, or hallways.
Six fixed shelves distribute weight evenly and stay secure over time. The unit stands at 135cm tall and must be anchored to the wall using the included fixings to prevent tipping. Each shelf provides room for storage boxes, folders or decorative items, with five open cube spaces for easy organisation. Assembly requires two people and clear instructions are provided. Supplied flat-packed with all fixings included. Part of the Karee collection. Backed by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Customers Say
Shelving unit is easy to assemble, sturdy, and good value. Some issues with wood quality and screw holes splitting wood. Suitable for light to moderate storage and customizable with paint or stain.

Good product for the price
For the price this is a good buy. I found it easy to assemble and it was pretty sturdy. It can be tied into the wall if needed but I haven't needed to do that so far. I wanted it mostly for books as a stop gap til I could afford something better. Large books lying on their side on the bottom works well in anchoring the shelves. Smaller books need some help staying put but it has worked out for me.

Sturdy shelving unit
I put this up by myself in about two hours but a fitter person could do it quicker . It's very stable and sturdy . The only negative is the spaces between the shelves are just a little too small to stand most of my cookbooks up as I initially wanted . Still I'm happy enough.

Great value
Quite time consuming to assemble because of the number of screws. I was concerned that the wood would split as I inserted the screws so I drilled pilot holes for all of the screws which added to the time it took. The effort was worth it, the finished article is sturdy and ideal as a towel rack in our walk in wardrobe

Temporary fix
Purchased two of these as temporary storage in dressing room. Not the best quality wood, several areas split when screws applied.

Parts Missing—Unit Is Uneven
The parts needed to assemble the shelving unit to the wall were missing. The shelving unit is leaning slightly on one side.

Bad quality
Terrible quality - the wood splits as you’re putting the screws in.

Light and Scandi
These shelves have enabled me to store books, medicines, and dressings on shelves rather than on the floor. My lovely friend constructed two of them for me - I’m hopeless at DIY and don’t have much hand function. The shelves are light and made of pale wood, so fit in well with my large, airy living room.

Does the job
It fits perfectly for what i need, cheap and cheerful. One time job till I can get something more permanent
