Does what I wanted
I went for this item because it had more ports than I needed. True to form, these cheaper models tend to have one port that doesn’t work and this was indeed the case.

Not all ports seemed to work at the same time
Bought this to charge multiple items at once which I know reduces the charge on each item compared to if you charged each singly. Found that one of the ports didn't seem to work, so not overly impressed.

This is power passthrough into the laptop/computer. You can use it to power a phone but it won't be 100W from the computer into the phone.

I have an LG 16MQ70 usb-c monitor and it does not work through this hub. Power is delivered, as the monitor turns on, but Windows 10 fails to notice it as a monitor. When the monitor is plugged directly into the laptop then Windows does notice and use it.
I bought the hub specifically because there was an answer saying it worked. Perhaps there is something odd with my monitor, the laptop needs a different OS or driver, or maybe the other answer is erroneous.
The hub is otherwise fine.
