About this product
The Habitat Olivia Bed Frame is designed for kids who want a bedroom that feels more grown-up. It's a single bed with a padded curved headboard upholstered in soft grey velvet, providing comfortable support when sat up reading or relaxing. Solid wood legs keep it steady and lift the frame off the floor, creating storage space underneath for toys, bedding or anything you need out of the way. Sprung wooden slats support the mattress and help it breathe. Suitable for ages four and over, safety tested to 100kg, it will see them through their teenage years.
The velvet finish feels lovely and adds a cosy touch to the bedroom. The frame holds a standard 90cm single mattress, that's not included. Maximum user weight is 100kg, so it's suitable for adult use too if you need a guest bed. Arrives flat-packed, you'll need two people to put it together, and all the fixings are included. The neutral grey works with most bedroom colours and styles. Covered by a two-year frame guarantee.

Yes, it does have a central beam that runs from the top end to the bottom end of the bed as the slats go from the centre to the edges rather than all the way across. Also, across the width of the bed, a support bar there has two little extra support legs on it too.

The supplier has advised the following for the Olivia Single Bed Frame - Grey:
The distance from the top of the slats to the floor is 255mm.
The leg height is 115mm, technically making it 140mm without them, but this item can’t be used without the legs attached.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Olivia Single Bed Frame - Grey:
Floor to the slats top surface where the mattress would sit is 25.5cm
Floor to side rail top is 28.5cm

Yes you can use the Habitat Olivia Single Bed Frame - Grey without the legs attatched, these screw in so can be added or taken off.

The height of this section is 115mm. The support leg is 205mm in length so under the slats you have a little bit extra to store if you don't mind lifting the bed slightly to put storage boxes underneath it.
