It boils water
Bought to replace a similar morphy richards kettle that worked, but annoyingly was leaking around the water level gauge straight onto the switch. Looks good in grey, works fine and does the job. Smelt of burning the first few times I used it, but in fairness the instructions say that might happen. No more burning smell any more. Good capacity, and much clearer to read the measurement gauge than my previous kettle. Boils fast & not too noisy. Showing some scratches already, but it's there to be used not as an ornament so not too concerned about that.

Happy overall.
Purchased a few weeks ago. Happy with size it's fast boil ,looks and capacity. As some others said it doesn't do a rolling boil but clicks off immediately it boils. One cup and small measures are indicated inside and can only be seen by opening lid. I prefer to fill through the spout. The spout isn't very wide but pours well.

Poor Quality Control
I bought this to match our toaster and microwave. Russell Hobbs have always made quality products but something has changed. The first kettle was not sealed around the spout so poured boiling water on my foot when I poured it. The second kettle blue LED failed on the first day and now on our third. Hopefully this lasts. Argos have been great swapping each item

Excellent kettle.
I have had my Russell Hobbs kettle for a couple of weeks now and like it very much. It looks nice on the kitchen worktop , boils quickly and fairly quietly and gives me level markers inside if only one, two or three cups are requird . What's not to like?!

I’ve had this kettle a couple of weeks. I am pleased with it. It has a clear screen on the back to see how full it is It pours quickly and without spills. It boils quickly. Just an efficient kettle just what you need. There is a filter in the spout, but it’s been no bother not blocking And just no bits in my tea so all good ☕️

I love this kettle so much, it is easy to use, I like how you can fill it according to how many cups you want. Quick to boil, fairly quiet. Looks lovely on the kitchen side as well I love making cups of tea with it.
