Different to what we expected
Had to get our oldest grandson to come and install it properly for us and at least it shows what the occupants of the car are doing, ie driver not using their phone, didn't even try putting the 2nd camera into the rear window but at least we can prove that it what happens if we was involved in a accident that was not our fault

Binatone front & rear dashcam
Very happy so far with Binatone dashcam, seems to work well considering it's competitively priced, as you could spend a lot more for doing a similar job to record journeys by car. However the instructions are a bit confusing and it took me a few days to get everything working how I wanted, but all OK now.

Useless "rear" camera
I bought this to replace a previous generation Binatone dual camera that had an excellent zoom lense that filmed out of the rear window and could even capture number plates. This one doesn't have a zoom lense and just films the interior of the car. Not what I wanted at all. The front facing 4k camera is very good though. Binatone needs to bring back the rear zoom function.

Bought this as my other one was playing up and needed one quick, wanted slightly cheaper one but would have taken to long to get here so went for this one for the rear view. problem is, where its allowed on the window as soon as someone puts the sun visor down the rear camera is covered. Bit expensive for me as rear view doesnt show much when it is used. But better than nothing I suppose. front view is good. Although it says its supposed to come on automatically when car starts but so far had to turn on myself. Screen goes off while recording so not always sure its recording and sometimes I forget to turn it of as well. Probably recommend others before this one because of the price.

Absolute rubbish quality, came apart when installing it. The rear camera is a complete waste of time. Returned it and got a refund.

Overall opinion
I purchased this product due to needing evidence of the way people are driving on the roads as I have found out first hand that if you don't have camera footage then the police won't seem to be able to go any further with helping you out. I have only one issue with the product and that is the camera for the rear of the vehicle because it attaches to the main camera you can't really see anything meaning that if the crash was to happen from the rear of the vehicle I don't think it would pick up the incident enough to use as evidence for claiming the insurance on their insurance policy meaning I could lose out and be the one paying for the damage caused.

“ How to open the parking mode.
1. Click setting button and choose parking mode.
2. Choose “ON”
3. Then, you can see the Parking icon
When the car is off, then no power supply. But, if end user opens the parking mode, when the car met the crash, the device will power on automatically and record 30s (it powered by device battery inside), and power off. ”

This Binatone UHD280 4K Dual Dash Camera uses a microSD card for storage. The maximum capacity is 32gb and class 10 or higher is required. The Binatone WiFi dashcams are compatible with a phone app for viewing footage however this particular model does not have that compatibility.

From the information we have available, I can advise the Binatone UHD280 4K Dual Dash Camera does come with a suction cup mount, but it does not have a quick release feature. The mount is designed to be secure and stable, but it requires manual attachment and removal.
