This is due to the Perfect Line system which enables you to easily tighten any sagging lines. After usage the lines can be retracted fully into the arms of the rotary clothes dryer, protecting them from rain or dirt.

Valida 50m sun rise outdoor clothes airer.
I bought this to replace an older airer,Nice concept looks lovely and neat in my garden. It is really hard work screwing the spike into the ground, not for the faint hearted. Once setup it's quite easy to use, the plastic parts appears and feels quite flimsy and the clothes lines aren't very robust hence the the clothes peg do not clip the clothes firmly on.

Bought for the easy opening feature
I bought this product as I have arthritis and was having difficulty opening up my old washing line. It came with a really large ground spike much more substantial than other products. There is a pull cord to erect the washing line. Once you work out the angle to pull the cord (slightly outwards rather than down), it is easy. Another amazing feature is that you can change the height of the line to suit you, and with an easy movement you can tighten the tension of the clothes line threads. But the good bits do not end there, there is a built in cover to keep your line clean and dust free between uses. This cover is in sections attached to the arms, and when the line is closed, they come together to form a hard plastic cover. The product was expensive compared to others, but it offers so much more. The only thing I cannot comment on is the durability of the actual cord you hang the clothes from, it is not the usual plastic coated kind, and as this is a new purchase, i cannot say how long these would last. I bought mine from Argos, cheaper than Amazon. All in all I am very pleased with the product, and it is perfect for my arthritis issues for putting it up and down.

Looks good, slimline and unobtrusive.
I have only used it a couple of times but it works well. I think that the price is a bit steep compared to the next down model.

Great washing line, doesn't spin very well
Great washing line, very strong lines, easy to open and folds up nice and neatly. It's also easy to remove when not needed. Because of how it locates in the ground spike, it doesn't spin by itself. It's possible to rotate it by hand, but it still drys the clothes well.

Great performer
At 75 it was a job to set up as I had to fit with concrete.Having said that it was well worth the effort as I love my rotary dryer which is safe to use without worry.
