About this product
The Habitat Turin TV Unit organises your entertainment space without any fuss. There's a spacious top that'll hold a television up to 65 inches, so most screens fit comfortably. Below that you've got five open shelves for media boxes, games consoles, and streaming devices, plus two cupboards to hide away all those cables and remotes you don't want on display. The oak-effect finish has a relaxed, natural look that works with most living room styles. It's wide enough to become a proper focal point, but the neutral tone keeps it from dominating the room.
The shelves are arranged at practical heights for everyday kit, with easy cable access at the back so you can plug everything in without awkward threading. The cupboards give you hidden storage for controllers, instruction manuals, or spare cables. Wall-mounting fixings must be used to secure the unit and prevent tipping, that's really important for safety and stability. Self-assembly is needed, two people are recommended to make it easier. Very disappointed with the unit, we were struggling to fixed as the unit had the book with all instruction wich it will make it easier to build it up , but unfortunately on the unit pieces the number were forgotten to right down wich it makes impossible for someone who’s inexperienced to build the unit , because of that we had to bin it we couldn’t fixed , and obviously we couldn’t return as we damaged when we tried to fixed

Normally the Habitat goods are very good quality-this however wasnt! Was replacing a previous habitat unit so was disappointed I’ve managed to make it look better with some ornaments and decorations It’s just ok I’m glad I didn’t pay full price

The Habitat Turin 2 Door TV Unit can be used as stand alone. The unit does not need to be attached to the wall.
Note: if you have young children I would attach to the wall to stop them pulling the unit on to them, for extra piece of mind.

The supplier has advised the following for the Turin 2 Door Extra Large TV Unit - Oak Effect:
“ With where we put the guide hole for the wall fixing bracket we usually allow for the standard 18mm thick skirting board but the bracket can be repositioned if the skirting board is thicker or there is another reason for standing the unit a little further from the wall. The criteria will be that, when fixed to the wall using the bracket with both screws fixed into the cabinet, the unit is securely fixed and cannot be tipped forward. ”
