The LG US40T delivers engaging sound with its 2.1 channel setup and wireless subwoofer that pairs automatically when plugged in. At 72cm wide, it fits neatly under most TVs without dominating your living room. With 300W total power (100W from the soundbar and 200W from the sub), there's enough punch for action scenes and clarity for dialogue-heavy dramas. AI Sound Pro analyses what you're watching and adjusts output accordingly, whether it's a film, news or music streamed over Bluetooth, so you don't have to keep adjusting settings.
The wireless subwoofer delivers deep bass you'll feel as well as hear, and setup is simple. Plug it into the wall and it connects automatically to the soundbar, no cables needed. You get HDMI and optical inputs for your TV, plus Bluetooth for streaming music from your phone, and a USB port if needed. The remote includes batteries, along with power cables for the soundbar and subwoofer, and it weighs 7.6kg total. The soundbar is 6.3cm high and 8.7cm deep, while the subwoofer is 32cm high, so it tucks away easily beside furniture. A 1-year manufacturer's guarantee is included.

The US40T fits the bill perfectly, it's not the most expensive bar available, but you wouldn't know it. The sound is deep and rich, controllable and not overpowering. New sound era
A new era of TV sound. I connected the sound bar to my TV using a fibre optic cable as the HDMI didn't seem to work. Turned the bar and Super woofer on in the order advised to enable the woofer to link without a hitch. The sound from the TV was put on silent and the sound bar set at a reasonable level. WOW. I couldn't believe how good the audio was. Must have been timed to perfection as the London Symphony Orchestra were playing themes from the Traitors as i set up the equipment. It was like I was sitting in the concert hall with them. Since then, films and all TV programmes watched make me feel like I am at the cinema. Well impressed.

"As long as the laptop is capable of searching for the soundbar via Bluetooth, this should in theory work however I can not confirm 100% as it depends on the laptops software etc. There is nothing stopping it from the soundbar point of view."

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the LG US40T 2.1Ch Bluetooth Sound Bar With Wireless Sub: ''To put it simply this means where the location of the speakers are.
For example 2.1 channel is a left and right channel and 3.1 is left, right and center. The .1 relates to the bass channel or subwoofer.''
