About this product
The Polaroid Hi-Print 2x3 Gen 2 is a pocket-sized photo printer that turns your phone photos into physical prints you can peel and stick anywhere you like. It connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and prints 2x3 photos in under 60 seconds, which means you can capture a moment and have it stuck on your wall, notebook or fridge whilst the memory's still fresh. The prints have sticky backs, so there's no messing about with glue or photo corners, and you can choose between glossy, satin or matt finishes depending on what look you're after.
This printer uses dye-sublimation technology for high-quality image printing with rich colours and detail. It handles both colour and black-and-white photos, so you've got flexibility whether you're printing party snapshots or moody monochrome portraits. The printer is compact and lightweight, so it slips into a bag easily and goes wherever you do. It runs on battery power, and it's only compatible with Polaroid Hi-Print 2x3 Paper Cartridges, which you'll need to keep stocked.

it prints quicker than expected, the colours are generally accurate but sometimes i adjust them slightly on the polaroid app for it to print more accurately

Bought to start a 'day trip' journal with my husband. Easy to set up, lots of options on the app for backgrounds etc. would have been nice to have a pack of paper to get you going.

Good little printer. Easy to set up and use. DOES NOT come with any printer sheets. Unless you have these or purchase additionally - you won’t be able to use straight away. Which is why the score is low. Good product but dos not include what’s required to use

Programmed to fail
I bought one, which stopped working when I got a firmware updated. I opened it up and the software was instructing it to not push paper through. I bought a second one and using the same phone it had the same problem. I was therefore able to prove programmed obsolescence. Don’t buy.

It doesn’t use traditional ink. Instead, it uses all-in-one paper cartridges that include both the dye and photo paper. Each cartridge prints 10 photos, and you simply replace it when it runs out.
