About this product
This YardMaster Castleton metal shed stores garden tools, lawnmowers and bikes securely. It's made from hot-dipped galvanised steel that resists rust and needs no maintenance. The apex roof design and wide double sliding doors give you easy access to everything inside. The lockable doors keep your belongings safe from theft. Air circulates naturally through the ribbed metal cladding so condensation won't build up. The fireproof and waterproof construction protects your items year-round. There's room inside to organise multiple tools and equipment together.
The steel construction never needs painting or treating unlike wood or plastic alternatives. All components come numbered and pre-drilled to simplify assembly. Anchor fixings are included for secure installation. Assembly takes two people and thick gloves are recommended. You'll have organised, low-maintenance storage that keeps your garden tidy and your equipment protected.

Customers Say
The shed offers great value, spaciousness, and sturdiness once built, but assembly is challenging due to poor instructions, missing or short screws, and sometimes bent parts. A concrete base and two people are recommended.

Not worth it
Very poor product instructions look like it was done by a child The screws are ridiculous short and they pop out after a while So this shed had now been pop rivet together Security is what it is Durability is ok but could do better on the screws bolts so on

Great Product, Poor Instructions
I bought this a month ago. The product itself looks great but was harder to put together than it needed to be as the instructions are so poor - thank goodness for Google and YouTube videos. The measurements aren't 100% accurate either, shed comes up a bit smaller than indicated.

Wouldn’t recommend
The instructions for putting this together was shocking none of the holes matched up was not easy to build at all nothing aligned very disappointing.

DO NOT PURCHASE
This item does not even deserve a 1 star. Although packaged well when delivered, the edges were all bent and sharp. I’d cut myself at least 6 times! After 6 hours of trying to build this as the instructions were not clear at all, we realised there were parts missing. So a whole day wasted and an extra £150 down for the gent who came to help build it. We then had to take it all apaper so that I could arrange for a collection to return it. DO NOT PURCHASE

Looks smart! Does the job
Really pleased, you don’t need an engineering degree to build this you just need time and patience. For the money it cost it’s worth every penny. Get yourself some silicone grease as you need it but it’s not supplied. - I would buy again

Great shed BUT
On the whole this is a great shed. Great price, plenty of space and sturdy once built. BUT it is a nightmare to put together. The instructions are shocking. It took 2 (and a little help from teenage son) 3 days to get it finished. Argos really need to take their supplier to task on the instructions and get them to rewrite them in a clearer step by step way and also label all of the parts and provide a clear parts list. I did read from other reviews it was a nightmare to put together but I did not expect it to be this complicated.

Very disappointed
Upon nearing the very lengthy construction of this shed I discovered there was a wall panel missing, After contacting Argos I was offered a measley £14 partially refunded or a complete replacement as the delivery of missing parts was not available but then obviously I wouldn't have dismantle the 95% complete shed to be back to square one of having to rearrange delivery of the new shed and having to build that in the hope of it being all there.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
